organisationsIndividual Grants for Relief in Need

Are family or friends able to help? Are you entitled to statutory help eg from the County Council in respect of services for children and adults? If not - please ask your support worker to make an application for white goods or any other essential item, to the Worcester City Council's Discretionary Welfare Assistance Scheme. If your DWAS application is unsuccessful or if the DWAS or other statutory services are unable to meet your needs then you may consider applying here.

We may be able to help if:

  • You are living in Worcester City
  • You can demonstrate financial need
  • You have a support worker to assist you, such as a:
    Citizens Advice Adviser
    Housing Officer
    Health Visitor
    Social Worker

Ask your support worker to click on the link below to read the Grants Committees' Policies and Practices.
