Individual Grants for Relief in Need
Are family or friends able to help? If not, ask your support worker to make an application for white goods or any other essential item, to the Worcester City Council's Discretionary Welfare Assistance Scheme.
If your landlord is Platform Housing Group, you or your support worker can apply on the Platform Wellbeing website for essential items https://www.platformhg.com/wellbeing-fund/
Click on: 'Let's see if we can help'. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Then click on: 'Please click here to start your application'.
If your Platform Housing Wellbeing Fund application or your DWAS application is unsuccessful or other statutory services, such as the County Council, in respect of services for children and adults are unable to meet your needs, then you may consider applying here. We may be able to help if:
- You are living in Worcester City
- You can demonstrate financial need
- You have a support worker to assist you, such as a:
Citizens Advice Adviser
Housing Officer
Health Visitor
Social Worker
